Spheris To Relocate To Primus Building in Cool Springs
Franklin, Tenn. June 20, 2006 Spheris has inked a 10-year lease for 70,209 square feet in Primus Building C at 9009 Carothers Parkway.Franklin-based Spheris, a leading global outsource provider of medical transcription technology and services, has leased a significant portion of Building C in the Primus complex on Carothers Parkway in Cool Springs to house its corporate headquarters and enable expansion of its growing operations. Spheris currently anticipates taking possession of the lease premises during the fourth quarter of 2006.
Earlier this year, Primus made available for lease nearly half of its four-building complex, 510,000 square foot property that sits on the east side of I-65. With Spheris' three (3) floor commitment, and the recent announcements by Nissan and Cybera to lease space within the complex, the vacated Primus space is now approximately 75% leased with only three floors remaining.
Whit McCrary IV, CCIM and Rob Lowe, CCIM, with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker represented Spheris in this transaction. “While Spheris will maintain operations in other U.S. and India locations, they realized the economic advantages and cultural benefits of consolidating their corporate headquarters and much of their United States operations under one roof”, stated Whit McCrary. “The Primus building offers Spheris competitive economics and flexibility for future expansion.”
Janet Sterchi, with the Nashville office of CB Richard Ellis, represented the owner of the Primus Financial Campus, Ford Motor Land Development Corporation.
