The publication's annual rankings are based on overall revenue in the previous year. Spheris broke into the top 40 in 2004, and has earned a spot in the top 30 for three straight years. Additionally, Spheris was featured in a special “Headliners” section of Healthcare Informatics, which appeared alongside the annual rankings in the June issue.
