Helping Streamline Workflow
As a physician, I need a more convenient method to sign completed medical reports that I have dictated.
Spheris Clarity Care offers an intuitive physician application for viewing, editing, and electronically signing transcribed documents. It is Web-based and can be accessed from any PC with Internet access. Physicians can view all documents in one location and access the voice file. In addition, physicians can view documents they receive as courtesy copies from referring physicians.
Our facility employs an outside radiology group. The radiologists rotate through the facility in a seven-day-on, seven-day-off rotation, but we can’t wait that long for results to be approved by the radiologist that read the image.
The Spheris solution supports group signature, allowing an administrative user to set up a group of physicians who can sign off on documents for other members of the group, expediting the approval process and eliminating delays in chart completion.
When I am reviewing a transcribed job I need to have the voice file available for comparison purposes.
Spheris Clarity Care includes synchronized voice and text for reviewing and editing purposes. Physicians can play the voice file online as they are reviewing the transcribed document. No special software is required. The voice file remains online for 90 days after transcription.
I always forget my password when I am trying to access applications within the facility.
In the event a user password is forgotten, the Spheris solution includes security settings that allow the physician to access the system through a series of security questions established the first time the user logs in to the system.
